    Interface ICamApiMaterialVO

    Material aspect of a visual object: how its faces are shaded. Implemented by the same object as ICamApiVisualObject (it also exposes ICamApiRenderableVO); this is a flat : IUnknown, fetched via QueryInterface. Objects without drawable faces (e.g. a gizmo) do not implement it, so QI returns nil - which serves as feature detection. Meaningful only together with ICamApiRenderableVO.

    Namespace: CAMAPI.ViewPort
    Assembly: CAMAPI.ViewPort.dll
    Syntax
    [Guid("C3F9A6D1-7E42-4B83-9A15-6D0E2F8B4C37")]
    [InterfaceType(ComInterfaceType.InterfaceIsIUnknown)]
    public interface ICamApiMaterialVO

    Properties

    Lit

    Lighting model for the object's faces. True (the default) shades them with the scene lights; False draws them flat and self-illuminated at full color (like polylines) - useful for overlays, markers and 2D-looking annotations. Does not affect polylines, which are always unlit.

    Declaration
    bool Lit { get; set; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    bool

    Preset

    Built-in material preset selecting how the lit faces are shaded (ampStandard by default). Ignored when Lit is False, since unlit faces are drawn flat. Does not affect polylines.

    Declaration
    TCamApiMaterialPreset Preset { get; set; }
    Property Value
    Type Description
    TCamApiMaterialPreset
